What this site is

A home for the Park Up & Walk guidebooks and the free pages that go with them. You can't buy anything here. When the books are out, purchase links go to the retailer, and your purchase is a contract with them.

Walking and touring are at your own risk

We check campsite facts on the operator's own website and date every check. Things still change: prices, dog rules, opening dates, paths. Check before you travel. Walks on cliffs, moors and hills carry real risk. Conditions change with weather and season, and you are responsible for deciding what is safe on the day.

Nothing on this site or in our books permits you to park or stay anywhere. Only the landowner or operator can do that. Where we list a stopover, we quote what the operator says and when we read it.

Using our words and maps

The text, design and images on this site belong to Verity AI Ltd, except where credited to someone else. Quote a sentence or two with a link, by all means. Don't reproduce a page, a map or a list. Our maps are drawn from OpenStreetMap data (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL), and photographs are credited where they appear.

Links out

We link to campsites, pubs, path authorities and others. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for what's on them. We are not affiliated with any campsite, pub or organisation we mention, and none of them pays to be included.

Tell us at hello@parkupandwalk.com. We'll check it and correct it on the book's updates page.

Liability

We take reasonable care with everything we publish. We can't promise the site is always available or always up to date. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
